9日，我院对外合作交流处在办公楼二楼会议室召开了新学年第一次外籍教师工作会议，学院莫运深副院长、对外合作交流处全体人员、各系部主要负责人及全体外籍教师出席会议。会议由对外合作交流处林慧明处长主持。
会上，来自美国、俄罗斯、加拿大、日本、韩国、德国、菲律宾及阿尔及利亚等国的17位教师首先进行自我介绍。除了介绍自己的姓名、国籍、经历外，这些外籍教师还纷纷表达了对我院、所教学生乃至整个海南岛的喜爱之情。
莫运深副院长在随后的致辞中，向新加入到我院这个大家庭的外籍教师表示热烈的欢迎，同时向他们介绍了我院的历史、学院目前规模及发展前景，尤其着重介绍了我院近几年取得的重大发展成就。莫副院长同时表示，我院未来发展还有很长一段路要走，今后我院将进一步深化改革、完善机制、改善办学条件、提高软硬件水平，以推动学院发展更上一层楼，希望外籍教师积极加入我院发展建设中，共同为学院发展“献力”，并在学院度过一段愉快、难忘的时光。开会当天，恰逢第26个教师节来临之际，莫运深副院长在发言最后，还代表学院党政给与会外籍教师送上了节日的问候和祝福。
随后，对外合作交流处黄子艿老师、邢福辉老师就我国国情、省情、校情向外籍教师作全面、详细介绍，并就外籍教师现场提出的一些疑问予以认真解答。
会议现场，外籍教师们认真聆听学院领导、有关人员的发言，互动交流时踊跃发言、交换意见，营造了十分活跃、轻松的氛围，他们诙谐幽默的言语、热情轻松的态度也让彼此间擦出了友谊的“火花”。
HNFLPE Hold the First Work Meeting of Foreign Teachers
The first work meeting of foreign teachers was held on 9th, September by Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Department. Mr. Mo Yunshen, the Vice President of HNFLPE, and the chief executive officers from all Departments attended the meeting. Ms. Lin Huiming, the director of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Department presided over the meeting.
17 foreign teachers, who are from the USA、Canada、 Japan、 Korea、 Germany、 Philippines、 Algeria etc., gave self-introduction at the beginning of the meeting. Besides the name、nationality and the experience, they also expressed their likes to the students and high praise to HNFLPE, even Hainan Province.
Mr. Mo Yunshen gave a speech at the meeting to welcome the new foreign teachers and introduce the situation of the College’s development and construction to them. He said that all foreign teachers were hoped to participate in the construction of the College actively in order to promote the development of the College. As the 26th Teacher's Day was about to come, Mr. Mo Yunshen also conveyed the sincerest greetings and wishes in his speech and won the applause of the audience.
Mr. Huang Zinai from Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Department of the College also gave a comprehensive introduction about the condition of our country、the province and the College. Some questions were answered by the staff of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Department at the meeting as well.
The meeting helps them to understand each other and the College, the foreign teachers remarked. They are also willing to help anyone in the College and do their best to propel the College forward.
