Hainan College of Foreign Studies is located in Wenchang City, which is known as Land of Culture, Land of Overseas Chinese, Land of National Mother, Land of Generals and Land of Chinese Spaceflight.

There are 20 languages including English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic, Burmese, Cambodian, Malay, Lao etc, and more than 30 majors including international business, international tourism and art. All majors are cultivated according to the mode of "foreign language + occupation", which is conducive to life-long development.

I. Enrollment targets and admission requirements

High school degree or above; 18-40 years old (including 18 years old); Healthy.

II. Enrollment types

1. Academic Qualifications Students:

(1) 3-year school system, junior college

(2) Adopt a full-time learning mode combining language learning and professional practice. The first grade focuses on the study of Chinese language knowledge and language skills, the second  grade gradually highlights the study and practical training of hotel majors, and the third grade comprehensive practice and internship report writing.

(3) After three years of study, students will be awarded the graduation certificate issued by Hainan College of Foreign Studies if they pass the academic performance and internship performance.

2. Advanced Students:

(1) Term of study: one semester to one academic year

(2) Students are divided into junior class, intermediate class and advanced class.

1. Scholarship setting

The college has Hainan Provincial Government Scholarship (the quota and bonus of Hainan Provincial Government scholarship shall be subject to the documents of Hainan Provincial government in the current year) and university-level scholarship. University-level scholarships can be divided into three types: full scholarship, half scholarship and part scholarship:

(1) Full scholarship: free tuition, free accommodation fee and 1200 yuan of living expenses per month;

(2) Half scholarship: free tuition and accommodation fee;

(3) Partial scholarship: free tuition.

2. Scholarship application requirements

(1) Between the ages of 18 and 40 and in good health;

(2) The applicant shall have foreign nationality and hold a foreign passport;

(3) No crime or violation of rules and regulations during studying abroad;

(4) Recognize that there is only one China in the world, abide by Chinese laws and regulations, meet China's entry and exit requirements, and be friendly to China;

(5) High school or above, bachelor degree or above students or graduates with bachelor degree or above are preferred;

(6) Other additional scholarships will be decided upon by the President's office and the Party Committee.

3. Scholarship evaluation and distribution

The evaluation of international student scholarships adheres to the principle of "openness, fairness and impartiality", and the evaluation results are published on the website of the International Exchange Center.
