海南外国语职业学院创建于1947年，是经海南省政府批准教育部备案的公办全日制外语类高等职业院校，也是海南省外语语种最多、外语专业最齐的高校。2012年成为全省第二所省市共建高校，2018年成为海南省教育厅批准建设的省级优质高职院校。2022年学校成为海南省“双高”建设院校。

Hainan College of Foreign Studies was established in 1947, being the only full-time public vocational college of foreign studies in China approved by the Ministry of Education. It provides the biggest number of foreign languages and offers education at different majors of foreign languages in Hainan Province. It became the second college co-supported by Hainan Province and Wenchang City in 2012 and one of the provincial key vocational colleges in 2018. In 2022, the college was identified as a "double high" construction institution in Hainan Province.

根据《中国政府奖学金》及《海南省教育厅 海南省外事侨务办公室 海南省财政厅关于海南省政府国际学生奖学金有关事项的通知》琼教外【2018】165号文件要求，结合学校实际，制定此招生简章。

According to the requirements of "Chinese Government Scholarship" and "Hainan Provincial Department of Education， Hainan Provincial Office of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs，Hainan Provincial Department of Finance on matters related to International Student scholarships of Hainan Provincial Government" document No. [2018] 165, and combined with the actual situation of the college, this enrollment brochure is formulated.

Prospective students and scholars from foreign countries are welcome to apply for the Hainan Provincial Government Scholarship to study at Hainan College of Foreign Studies.

一、资助类别

I . Supporting Categories

全日制专科生和普通进修生。

Full-time junior college students and general advanced students.

该项目原则上用于招收新生，不招收学习本国语言或英语、法语等第三国语言文学类专业的学生。

The scholarship is only for new students, it is unavailable for students who wish to apply to study their native language or a third country language including literature such as English, French etc.

名额：

高校自主招生项目：5名；

海南东盟留学生奖学金项目：2名。

The number of people allowed：

College Independent Enrollment Program: 5 students，

Hainan ASEAN Scholarship Program: 2 students.

四、申请条件

IV. Eligibility

1. 持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民。身心健康，品行端正，对华友好，遵守中国法律和海南外国语职业学院校规，尊重中华文化和风俗习惯。符合中国出入境条件。

Applicants should be non-Chinese citizen, well-behaved and capable of living independently. Be obligated to observe Chinese laws and college's regulations, respect Chinese culture and customs, and fulfill all the conditions of Chinese Entry-exit.

2. 学历和年龄要求：

申请人须具有相当于中国高级中学毕业的学历或证书，年龄在30周岁以下。

Applicants must have a diploma or certificate equivalent to the graduation of a Chinese high school and be under the age of 30.

3. 语言要求：汉语水平须达到HSK3级180分以上。

Language Requirements: Applicants are required to obtain an HSK Band 3 with scores above 180 when applying.
